Talk Description: Most people know that seaweeds are nutritious, and here in Maine there are so many different species. Like land vegetables, sea vegetables provide added nutrition to our diet and can help replace lost nutrients depleted from our soils. This presentation will provide several ideas on how to add a variety of Maine seaweed to the menu. We will provide a demonstration and a 'tasting' or two plus recipes and some 'swag'. If there is electricity, we can provide some overhead slides but it not, we can work without it.
