The Agricultural Demonstrations area is open to individuals and organizations furthering sustainable agriculture and strengthening rural communities. The emphasis is on teaching and demonstrating farming and gardening skills, strengthening agricultural economies and communities, and organization building and networking.The Young Maine area promotes farm-to-school connections, school gardens, experiential education and active healthy lifestyles for Maine's youth by providing a setting for organizations and individuals who work with Maine's youth to showcase their programs; network with each other and fairgoers; and present talks, workshops and related activities.
Applications are due March 16, 2026.
STEP ONE - Read Guidelines and Application Instructions.Before completing your application, read and familiarize yourself with the Fair and Agricultural Demonstrations and Young Maine Exhibitor Tent Guidelines. There are updates for 2026, so be sure to read these. Please note: in order to vend at the Fair all vendors must submit a Certificate of Insurance meeting the requirements specified in the 2026 General Fair Guidelines to the Fair office by June 1st.

STEP THREE - Submit Application with $10.00 Application FeeYou may submit payment online with your application or mail a check. Applications will not be considered until payment is received.
Applications (including application fee) are due on Monday, March 16th. Completed applications received after the deadline will be reviewed on a rolling basis, space permitting.
Each 8ft table will be $201.00 for the Fair weekend. Booth fees will be due with returned contracts of accepted exhibitors.
If your organization would like full or partial help paying the booth fee, you can find the Agricultural Demonstrations and Young Maine scholarship application here. Please fill out the scholarship application and email to commonground@mofga.org upon completion.
Accepted vendors will be able to request electricity in the contract and will be required to list all appliances, lights or devices and the wattage for each that will be part of their booth. Electrical service is available for a fee.
