Please submit all presenter and topic information for each talk or presentation below. The Common Ground Country Fair is always held the 3rd weekend after the Labor Day holiday. The 2025 fair will be September 19, 20, and 21.
Please note, the deadline to submit an application to be a presenter at the 2025 Fair is Monday, April 14, 2025.
Talks and demonstrations are generally scheduled between 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (5:00 p.m. on Sunday). Most talk slots are scheduled in 60 minute intervals, starting on the hour, with talks allocated 50 minutes. This provides a few minutes for the following speaker to get set-up and for the audience to turn over.

On a limited basis, small stipends are available to presenters of educational talks on agricultural topics. Generally, these are talks we schedule in the Agricultural and Livestock Demonstration Areas. Given the space limitations in these locations, some of these talks may be scheduled in other locations at the Fair, such as the Farm & Homestead or Agricultural Products area.
If your business or organization has applied for a booth in the Agricultural Demonstrations area, or you selected Agriculture, Livestock or Herb Tent as the category for your presentation, you may be eligible for a stipend. Presenters in these areas may elect to volunteer their presentation, in lieu of a stipend, and receive a t-shirt and a meal in the volunteers Common Kitchen.
If you selected the Country Kitchen Demos area, you are eligible for a small stipend to help cover the cost of you materials. Presenters in this area may elect to receive the stipend or to volunteer their presentation, in lieu of a stipend, and receive a t-shirt and a meal in the volunteers Common Kitchen.If you selected the DIY #HomeHacks area, you may be eligible for a small stipend to help cover the cost of you materials.
